Uche Sparks Comfortable Palace Triumph at Irish Side Shelbourne.
Despite embarking on their first-ever continental campaign, Crystal Palace are adapting very quickly. Missing star players like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the London club left Dublin with a commanding result that virtually secures them a spot in the Europa Conference League playoffs.
Another victory in their next fixture against Finland's KuPS should be sufficient to seal straight entry to the last 16, particularly following a prior setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Seize the Opportunity
This occasion offered a chance for some of Palace's fringe players to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning since arriving on loan from Getafe, opened the scoring with a well-taken goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah contributed a second, finding the net for the second game in match.
A Shelbourne team that had concluded their domestic season proved outmatched against a largely rotated Palace outfit. The Londoners were already weakened by the reports that Mateta and Muñoz are sidelined with leg problems.

Pino Wraps Up the Contest
The contest was as good as over eight minutes from half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past some weak challenges before calmly slotting a shot past goalkeeper Wessel Speel to make it 3-0.
Following the break, manager Oliver Glasner took the chance to withdraw key players like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring with his very first touch, but saw his shot blocked.
Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off both posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also missed a glaring chance, indicating there is still scope for improvement in his game.
A solitary worry for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This paved the way for 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to make his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect evening for the traveling side.
